How to Clean Jewelry
Wash and dry your hands before cleaning. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently polish the jewelry from every angle. For necklaces and pendants, clean the chain last, as it is usually the dirtiest part. For earrings, hold the jewelry by the post while cleaning. If possible, clean your jewelry after every wear to remove daily dirt and residue.
A lint-free cloth is a special cleaning cloth that does not leave fibers or fluff behind. It can be purchased online, at hardware stores, or in some supermarkets.
